On May 22, 2025, Vice President Yuan Mindao of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) met with a delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE), led by President Yoshida Kozo. The two sides exchanged views on enhancing China-Japan people-to-people friendship and deepening cultural exchanges.
Zhang Xiaoping, Deputy Director-General of the Department of East Asian Affairs of the CPAFFC, also attended the meeting.
