On May 27, 2025, Vice President Jiang Jiang of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) met with a visiting delegation led by Prasitsak Meelarp, President of the Supreme Administrative Court of Thailand. Both sides spoke highly of the longstanding China-Thailand relationship and expressed their shared commitment to taking the opportunity of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries, also celebrated as the "Golden Jubilee of China-Thailand Friendship", to further strengthen people-to-people bonds and deepen practical cooperation and contribute jointly to the development of the China-Thailand community with a shared future.
Zhu Dan, Director-General of the Department of East Asian Affairs of the CPAFFC, and Zhang Peng, Deputy Director of the Department of East Asia Affairs of the CPAFFC, were present at the meeting.
